Istanbul Jewelry Show (IJS), one of the world’s largest jewelry exhibitions, recently underwent a significant rebranding. Formerly known as “Istanbul Jewelry Show,” the brand transitioned to “IJS” with an updated logo to reflect its modern, global identity. WWM was tasked with orchestrating a high-impact launch event to unveil this transformation to the world.

Objective

The goal was to introduce the new IJS brand and logo in a way that captured its global reach, modern identity, and strong heritage in the jewelry industry. The event needed to not only announce the change but also create a lasting emotional connection with the audience.

Strategy and Execution

To create a memorable and culturally rich experience, we organized a rebranding launch event with a historical theme. As part of this strategy, Pelin Batu, a renowned historian, was invited as the keynote speaker to deliver a talk on the theme: “Women and Jewelry in History.” Her speech provided a deep, cultural context around the significance of jewelry, enhancing the emotional resonance of the IJS brand.

Following Batu’s compelling speech, a video presentation was shown, seamlessly introducing the new IJS logo and identity. The video reflected both the brand’s heritage and its forward-thinking vision, aligning with the global aspirations of IJS.

The event was designed to strike a balance between heritage and innovation, underscoring the rich history of jewelry while highlighting IJS’s future as a global leader in the jewelry exhibition industry.
